Welcome to 2010

Happy New year Everyone!
Sorry for the delay in getting the grooming reports posted. Please stay tuned frequently for current snow and trail conditions.
The Golf Course is groomed to Olympic Standards and is fully open with exception of the back country trail which is closed until further notice.
Watch for our new sign package to be installed shortly.
Please note the following points that must be followed in order to maintain our good relationship with the Fernie Golf and Country Club.
1. All skiers must display this years trail pass on their ski pole.
2. No Dogs on the Golf Course Ski Trails
3. No Snowshoeing anywhere on the Golf Course

The damage to the golf course can be significant if these points are ignored. Thanks for your co-operation.
Please wave to the groomers when you're out there and be ready to show them your trail pass.

Thanks very much!

I was able to groom today, with the roller and track setter. Did the golf course, dyke to the east fernie bridge, and the small back country trail to the railroad track.

It is snowing like crazy and won't take long to be filled in.
Don

(Many Thanks to Don for using his personal snowmobile to groom today while ours is in the repair shop.)

Happy New Year!
The Golf Course will not be groomed today.
The grooming snowmobile is in for service. Updates will be made on this site once we commence grooming again. Unitl then have fun out there, conditions should still be great for skating!

Rolled most of the golf course late last night. Loads of snow out there now!
The snowmobile is having some technical issues, so track setting may not happen today.
Skating will be the best choice today!

New year of Skiing!

The golf course was groomed for Classic and Skating today. The snow was coming down so hard that it may be tough to tell I was even there!
It was great to see so many people out for a New Years Day Ski! Happy New Year Everyone!

I groomed on the 30th and after Ian came to rescue me from the edge of the pond it went well. Thanks to Ian and his son Brock for saving me from a possible swim.

I groomed again yesterday (31st) and it went well - lots of new snow and the wind was slowly filling the track with drift. We skied last night around 8:00 pm and parts of the track were great and parts were comletely covered.

Golf Course was entirely groomed and track set again today.
Thanks Don!
Please stay off of the back country trail, water still remains a hazard back there.

All trails were rolled and track set.

All trails were rolled and track set.
The Dike to Canadian Tire is groomed and the back country trail will be the next to be done today.
The snowmobile seems to be running well.
