It's La Nina!! Big snow coming for 2010/2011

WINTER IS ON IT'S WAY!!

The Nordic Society is gearing up for another great season. 2010/2011 is predicted to be a big year for snow...a welcome change to the snow drought experienced last winter!

We are starting to plan all sorts of events for this year, starting with our AGM on Wednesday, November 24th at the Fernie Arts Station. Join us to vote in the board, become a member and find out about the exciting events happening this winter.

We are providing the Jackrabbits Kids Skill Development program again this winter. Click the 'Membership' tag at the top of this page to become a member and sign your child up for weekly cross-country ski lessons. It's a great way to get out and enjoy the winter Fernie has to offer.
