Elk Valley Nordic Centre

No dogs, snowshoes, biking or walkers on the trails please.

The network was groomed and trackset with the snowcat on Saturday afternoon. Partial grooming of skate lanes on Cedar Loop and Lookout due to challenging conditions. More snow is needed.

Fernie Golf Course

Trails are groomed and trackset daily after 8 am. Watch for icy sections.
Level of difficulty: Easy green easy

No dogs, snowshoes or walkers on the golf course please.

FAR silk slide

The Raging Elk Silk Trail Slide is on from Jan 28 through Feb 5. More details and register HERE

The Silk, Scandia and Machuria trails were groomed on Monday morning. No new trackset.

Off-leash dogs are now allowed on the trails if they are still under ‘vocal control’. A map and directions to trails are found here

Fernie Dyke

The dyke is groomed regularly by the personel of the golf course up to the North bridge.
Level of difficulty: Easy green easy


Trail grooming is happening regularly. Green trails are for nordic skiers only. Walkers, dogs and snowshoers on blue trails only.
