Once again the Fernie Nordic Racers were at the Kootenay Cup event in Nipika this last weekend January 30-31, 2016. Several of the parents were also participants in the event. This event included long distance categories for adults: 15 and 30 km classic on Saturday followed by 10 and 20 km skate on Sunday. The course was a little challenging and everyone had a good time competing under cool temperatures but nice weather. The race results are available at Zone4 for Classic and Skate.
